A Technical Dive at the Blue Hole Dahab – Short version.wmv
Blue Hole – Dahab. The “ARCH” Floh Herzberg & Tom Schwerick diving the Arch at 78m. The dive was done in October 2008 on Trimix under the support of Reef 2000 Dive Club. Unfortunately we met again some insane single tank divers at around 60m. At least we filmed them (one diver tries to shade is face from the camera). Why are people not accepting that the Arch is a technical dive only! The music is by “Splatterday” – a PunkRock band from Munich Germany. Thanks for the support guys!

limit for recreational divers is 40m! any one who is going deeper does not make him a tekkie diver it makes him an idiot diver.
@TheMichaeldiver Why? Lot’s of people dive beyond their training limits. If you are sensible and have the air plus redundancy and can use then I don’t see a mojor problem.

I dont understand why is only tec dive ?, i am diver and worker an many times i risk to go more then 75m with single tank, its stupid no its not if you know what are you doing.
Im curious, could you use a trimix with 21% o2 and then a nitrogen, helium mix and do a recreational dive to 40m ? Any advice would be good

@97Arran Yes you can but you complicate a lot your decompression, if you dont want to pass 40m in the dive better use 28% Nitrox
