If you have a salt water tank with the right temperature range and a way of getting the fish home to your tank before they die, then yes you can. You will probably want to set up a small quarantine tank to initially keep them in. You don’t want to be adding sick fish in with your healthy fish. Keep them separated until you’re sure they’re not sick or dying.
I used to work with someone who had a large salt water tank. They would catch small flounder in the fall, and feed them frozen corn through the winter. They had fresh flounder whenever they wanted. It worked out great except for the couple of fish that the kids named. They ate them anyway, but I don’t think the kids ever forgave Dad for eating their pets.
