Cancun Deep Sea Fishing-Scuba Diver Rescue 07/06/2008

While deep sea fishing near Puerto Moreno (south of Cancun), we encountered two scuba divers who had been left behind by their charter boat.

    No, they were thankful though. We kept fishing and our group had a nice lunch and all shared the memory. We still keep in touch with the other party on the boat. It has connected us in a way.

    No way, the boat bailed on them??? I dove in Cancun in strong currents and had only the best experience with the boat people, even big waves, they’re near you before you even come up.

    OMGosh! I did deep sea scuba off the coast of Cancun this summer too. That current can be strong. These guys could have filed a major lawsuit for being left out there like that.. That is so scarey (not that it was anyone’s fault) yet how do you miss counting people on the boat? I’m glad they were safe.
    Our instructor gave us a 15 min crash course lol

    yes they did the stupids mexican and you know that area it’s planty of sharks the same sharks that like to eat cubans ! fukking mexican ! we liky because we are italian with balls and we fight few sharks just puncin tham but you know when the voice it’s around they can come many and we was in the shit anyway the corrent can olsow send us to jamaica!

    @toooobster The guide was pretty calm…. embarrassed somewhat, but calm and appreciative. We had a great beach fresh caught fish dinner that evening. A good time was had by all.

    @Evanwatches Whe had a beach style dinner with others on the boat to reminisce, On the boat they caught a sailfish sooo quick and it was so lackadaisical, that I swear they already had the sailfish hooked when we left the dock.
