Old Computer Hard Drive- New One?

I had a windows 95 Pc and the hard dive is out (3gb) i was wondering if i could plug it into my new pc (windows xp) and view all my old files and stuff?

    Jumper the Old drive as a Slave, plug it in (power and IDE cable), ensure that the BIOS sees both drives (Old and the original drive).
    Open Windows Explorer (Not IE). Look for the Old drive, you should find it as drive E or higher drive letter.
    You should be able to read and/or copy them to the new drive.
