Why Doesn´T My Computer Recognize My Usb Flash Dive?
I just bought a new USB 4GB flash drive. and when i plug it into my computer it starts installing it but then it says it has compatibility problems and it wont install! if i plug my flash drive into other computer ill work great but not in mine! also if i plug ANY flash drive in my computer it will start installing it too… its like my computer wont recieve ANY flash drives! somebody please help me…Thank you!
Go into Device manager and remove all items related to USB such as Root Hub and USB controller, do this by right clicking each item and choosing uninstall,
Once all done, reboot and let Windows find the USB items, then try your USB stick.
Important: if you see anything with a Yellow Exclamation mark, make sure they get deleted or installed correctly!
Also, check to see if there are any updated driver programs at your mfr support website, or via Windows Update.
